I'm currently writing this blog outside my room and odd as it may seem, I think I'm imagining steaks with clouds over me! Guess I'm not yet done with the really good time I had eating at Mamou in Powerplant Mall.
Mamou is the eponymous restaurant of Malou Fores and it is said to be the extended version of her own dining room, filled with dishes she has cooked for her own family.
We started our meal with this five-floured bread basket served with butter on the side. Sadly, the bread was a bit tough and already cold.
For our starter, we had this really good romaine lettuce salad. And the dressing: vinaigrette. It was unexpectedly yummy!
Next thing we had was their bestselling Truffle Pasta. It was creamy, very flavorful, and really tasty!
For the best part and my favorite dish of all--their version of Angus Rib Eye Steak! Just hearing the name makes me drool all over again!
The steak was well cooked. It was juicy, soft, and a bit chewy. My perfect steak!
As for our drinks, we had their iced tea and their famous dalandan mint shake. Their iced tea was nothing special but the dalandan mint shake was superb! Well that is for me, maybe because I’m a fan of mint.
Without a doubt, I’ll surely go back to Mamou anytime any day! Definitely can’t wait for my next visit!
