Talents' Night Contest :)

Last November 26, 2011, we engaged in a talents’ night contest at Fiamma with our fellow College of Business students. Our whole block had no choice but to participate primarily because the Interdisciplinary Business Studies (IBS) course has only one block and a half. We were also the only class who constitutes mainly IBS students while the other block has mixed courses.

The block decided to do a dance number since our block has Thea Madrideo, a seasoned dancer, to teach and guide us throughout the preparations. We practiced for only a week thus we did it almost everyday. It was exhausting, really stressful, and the pressure was definitely felt.

Here is a video of our last practice before the big day at Enriquez Building, DLSU. One of our fellow contestants and a potential competitor was even practicing behind us. How awkward!

Out of the seven participants that night, we won first place! All the hard work and exhaustion was all worth it! With this contest now behind us, without a doubt, we experienced a lot of great things. From the lessons we learned to the memories and bonding we will surely treasure. Truly, with hard work comes great results. And I’m sure, we’d love to do this again. Maybe, far next time.

Here we (Block20) are enjoying the fame for just a few seconds. :)
